A Capella

I generally don’t get into to singing shows. I’ve never seen more than a couple of seconds of American Idol (the title says it all!), and I’ve never seen X-Factor or The Voice, but there is one show that I do watch because of the amazing talents of the contestants: The Sing-Off. This competition features groups that make music with their voices alone. I’m not talking about merely singing either. They have vocal percussionists and rhythmists who are absolutely amazing. A group of kids calling themselves Pentatonix won last season—and for good reason—they were head and shoulders above the rest! I’ve just come across a new offering from them and it’s as good as anything they did on the show. Check it out:

  1. They were our faves all through the competition. My hubby and I watched the last two seasons and this is one of our favorite shows!

  2. Nancy: Same here. I didn’t know about the show in its first season but once I caught on in season 2 I was hooked. Both years I’ve watched I’ve rooted for the winners (Committed & Pentatonix).
