Every so often I’ll receive an email thanking me for something I’ve written or encouraging me to keep doing what I’m doing. If you’ve found this blog to be a blessing and would like to offer some support then there are a number of ways to do it.

You can pray for me. I’m a firm believer in the power of prayer and any prayers offered up to God on my behalf are greatly appreciated. I won’t tell anyone what to pray for but here are a few suggestions:

  • Pray that the Lord continues to provide according to my needs and not necessarily my desires.
  • Pray that the Lord gives me eyes to see and ears to hear as I study his word and write about it.
  • Pray that the Lord gives me a heart to engage with people and issues fairly and honestly whether in agreement or disagreement.
  • Pray that the Lord humbles me and strips away pride so that I may receive correction when it is justly offered.
  • Pray, above all, that I decrease so that the Lord may increase.

You can help me to build my library. In addition to what I write on the blog, I am called upon at times to teach in my local church, and my research library aids greatly in this task. There are a number of ways you can help me build my library:

  • The most direct way is to purchase a book off of my Amazon wish list. You’ll notice that there are a few different lists. All of those containing books are books that will aid me in my ministry.
  • You can click the links that I post to Westminster Bookstore products. I am a member of the Westminster Bookstore Blog Partner program, which is designed to help bloggers earn Westminster Bookstore gift certificates (or cash) as traffic is directed to their website. You’re under no obligation to purchase anything. Simply following the link is enough, and as I accumulate clicks, I accumulate gift certificate earnings.
  • You can purchase Amazon products through links that I generate (the easiest way to do this is by searching Amazon through search widget here). I am also an Amazon affiliate so when products are purchased through the links generated from my account I earn a small percentage. As sales increase the percentage increases. This, however, does not affect your price. You will pay no more for the product whether you purchase it through one of my links or not.
  • You can purchase CDB products through links that I generate as well. The deal here is pretty much the same as with Amazon. The links that I post will have been generated from my account. If an item is purchased I receive a small percentage. To my knowledge the percentage stays the same regardless of how much is ordered. Unlike Amazon, there is no widget you can use to search, so you’d need to click the links I post or enter the CBD site from here in order to open up a browsing session. The one drawback of this program is that earnings are nullified if the purchaser combines another offer (e.g., a free shipping coupon).

You can donate money. I wouldn’t expect anyone to actually support my efforts by sending cash, but on the off-chance there is someone who would like to do so, there are two ways of doing this:

  • You can donate through Paypal by going here. As you will read once you click through, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth is not a non-profit ministry so donations are not tax deductible. They are, however, greatly appreciated.
  • You can send a check via snail mail. Email me with your intent to do so and I’ll get you a mailing address.
