In the Mail

I neglected to mention that Eerdmans sent a copy of Vernon K. Robbins’ Who Do People Say I Am?: Rewriting Gospel in Emerging Christianity back on September 30th. That copy had been damaged in shipping because the USPS is, for all intents and purposes, incompetent. I had posted a couple of pics on Twitter and Eerdmans told me they’d replace the volume! Well the replacement came in today along with David Crump’s Encountering Jesus, Encountering Scripture: Reading the Bible Critically in Faith and Sidney Greidanus’ Preaching Christ from Daniel: Foundations for Expository Sermons.

In addition to these three volumes I received a copy of Early Arabic Christian Contributions to Trinitarian Theology: The Development of the Doctrine of the Trinity in an Islamic Milieu by Thomas W. Ricks courtesy of Fortress Press. So lots on the horizon!
