It seems that March has been a much busier month than anticipated and as such I’ve fallen behind on a couple of projects. The first, and this should be obvious to regular readers, is my daily “Bible in a Year” posts. The reason I’ve fallen behind in posting is because I’ve fallen behind in reading. I’m poised to start 2 Samuel 13 when I should be starting 1 Kings today. So if we count today then I’m five days behind. I know that I can catch up, but I don’t know that I will. It would be disappointing to have carried on this project for more than eighty days only to quit now. We’ll have to wait and see what happens.
Also, you may have noticed the dearth of book reviews this month. There’s a reason for that: I haven’t read enough this month to write many reviews (and I only review books I read—shocking—I know). The goal is at least four reviews a month. It ain’t gonna happen for March. I’ll probably end this month with two reviews (one was already written and posted), at best, three, and that’s being overly optimistic. So I’m going to be extending “Trinity month” through April. Why? Because I have a number of books on the Trinity that I want to read now and I’d like to review them sooner than later.
So there you have it. In the words of Nas, “I do what I can do when I can do it.“
