The Bible in a Year: Day 61 (Joshua 10-12)

Not much to say here.

Joshua 10 — I never got why some folks who claim to believe what the Bible says have a problem with the idea of the sun not setting for a day. Why believe that God can create the universe and not control after he creates it? Seems rather deistic to me.

Joshua 11:20 — Pharaoh redivivus.

Joshua 12 — A boring list.

On a side note; I’d like to see a major motion picture of the conquest of Canaan. I think it would help me to better visualize what happened. When I read about it it’s not very vivid (unlike, e.g., when I read of Jesus’ passion).
