Kurt Sutter (the creator of the hit FX drama Sons of Anarchy and former writer on FX’s The Shield) has some advice for writers. He’s talking mainly to people in show business but I think it’s good advice for all writers. Be forewarned that he has a bit of a penchant for profanity.

I read it, too, after all. Reminded me of Colin Firth or George VI… I get them mixed up for some reason.

Chuck: One of those guys was related to that other guy who started the Church of England so he could kill his wives and sleep with all kinds of mistresses guilt-free, right?
