Two packages came this morning:
The first was from Baylor University Press and contained a copy of Peter Leithart’s Deep Exegesis: The Mystery of Reading Scripture. I’m a big fan of Dr. Leithart’s writing in general so I’m confident that I’ll enjoy this volume, which I plan to read in conjunction with Matthew Levering’s Participatory Biblical Exegesis.
The second package came from Tyndale House and contained a review copy of the NLT Mosaic Bible. I’ll be hosting a guest post from one of the contributors on 10/09/09 as a part of the blog tour. I’ll also be posting my review probably within a week or two (as soon as I read through all of the front matter). And finally, I’ll be having a contest in which the winner will win a certificate for a free Mosaic Bible that can be redeemed in any bookstore. Stay tuned…

Isn’t Leithart a federal vision guy? I think I remember his name while trying to figure out what that controversy was all about a while back.
Kisanri: I think he might be. I know he discussed federal vision a while back and if I recall correctly I think he was for it.
