About a week-and-a-half ago I gave readers the opportunity to decide my next book review. The vote went like this:
Encountering the Manuscripts – 3
The Four Gospels and the One Gospel of Jesus Christ – 2
A High View of Scripture? – 1
The Christology of Early Jewish Christianity – 1
Not a lot of action as you can see. But the rules have changed. Since I’ve received a coupld of books that I’m more interested in reading, I’ll do those first. But I’ll use the votes to push Encountering the Manuscripts and The Four Gospels and the One Gospel of Jesus Christ higher on my list of priorities.
For the record, my next will will most likely be For Us and Our Salvation: The Doctrine of Christ in the Early Church by Stephen J. Nichols.

Dr. Nichols was my professor in Bible college. :)
The Nichols book sounds interesting too. I’ll look forward to both review

I actually just finished reading it and will be using it for this coming weeks SS lesson. I liked the book. Nichols always does good work.
still looking for the bad review….
uh, er… I mean the review of the bad book…
Jeff: Yeah, I remember first hearing about it on your blog last year. Looks like a good one.
Shaun: Shouldn’t be too long now, it’s a fairly short book.
Brian: Oh, it’s coming. Patience my friend, patience.
