I was sitting there reading Primitive Christianity in its Contemporary Setting and Bultmann mentioned the Maccabees so I started thinking to myself that I have to re-read I-IV Maccabees because it’s been a long time since I’ve done so. Then I started wishing I had the Greek texts to practice with and thought about looking around for an online version. No luck there. Then I considered going on Amazon and looking for one I could buy, and that’s when it hit me… my copy of the LXX (Brenton) has them! Thank God I remembered that because I would have probably ended up spending money unnecessarily.
Update: I was just messing around with my Bible software (e-Sword — it’s free so that means it’s better than Bible Works, Accordance, and Logos — Ha! — and I discovered that the LXX I have on there has the Greek text of the deuterocanonicals as well — double score!)
