In the Mail

Eerdmans sent along a copy of Karen Kilby’s Balthasar: A (Very) Critical Introduction. I don’t know nearly about about Hans Urs von Balthasar but from the little I’ve read from and of him it would seem that I’d disagree with much of his thought. So a very critical introduction seems like the perfect place to start and knowing what I know of Kilby, I’m sure this will more than useful. Looking forward to it.

The introductions are awesome, but very tough to work through. The Zizek one was way above my paygrade, but the Heidegger one was great fun. Their “Interventions” series, edited by Conor Cunningham, is also really good.

Kyle: I wasn’t aware that this was a series. I’ll have to look into to other volumes.
