Two books came in today. The first was a review copy of Tasting Heaven on Earth: Worship in Sixth-Century Constantinople courtesy of the fine folks at Eerdmans. The second was Edgar Allan Poe: Complete Tales and Poems, which I purchased the other day. This one came in much earlier than I thought it would, which is always a treat. I can’t wait to introduce my daughter to Poe’s short stories.

I’ve not read much of Poe outside of The Raven and The Tell-Tale Heart (which is quite good). I might have to check out a few of his stories. Maybe if you post a few synopses I’ll know better which ones to check out! *hint hint
Jason: I’d be happy to do so once I start reading through it.
