I was contacted last week by a guy named Torry Anderson who plays in a Seattle based named called Wayfarer. He shared a little bit about what his band has been doing, which is taking the lyrics to old hymns and spirituals, and setting them to entirely new music. Sounded like a cool concept to me, and I would have mentioned it sooner, but last week was a busy one.
