The only thing I find more ridiculous than Twitter in and of itself are Twitter beefs. Why people take to arguing in 140 characters or less is beyond me. Could you imagine really important people beefing on Twitter?

What’s sad is a number of politicians (kind of important) do beef on Twitter or at least use it to take shots at their foes. Heck, the media sometimes pays more attention to what they say on Facebook or Twitter than in the debates they have in Congress and the votes they take. I guess it’s really just a reflection of our preference for soundbites.
