My Amazon order just came in containing:
- The Concept of Biblical Theology: An Old Testament Perspective — James Barr
- Christology: A Biblical, Historical, and Systematic Study of Jesus — Gerald O’Collins
This is the first package that I’ve ever got from Lexington, KY that hasn’t been damaged. It took them long enough to get it right!
B”H

I just started reading Barr’s The Concept of Biblical Theology! Happy reading.

Seth: How are you liking it so far?
Brian: You gotta strike while the iron’s hot! I wasn’t willing to pay $14 for it but when it dropped to $10 I had to jump on it.

Hi Nick,
Long time no comment ;-)
I don’t know if you’ve read O’Collins’ first edition of “Christology”. But if you have I’ll be interested to find out if you think it would be worthwhile to buy this second edition as well. The first ed. was very good.

Jonathan: Yeah, it’s been a while. I hope all is well. I haven’t read the first edition of this volume so I don’t know how different the second edition is. I had the first edition on my Amazon wish list for a couple of years so when I saw the second edition at a cheaper price I decided to go with that. The preface or introduction might note significant differences but I haven’t read either yet. If there’s anything in there I’ll follow up on this comment and let you know.
