Oh how I love patristics! And how I love Routledge for sending a box of books on patristics. Today I came home to find four books on my porch:
-
Gregory of Nazianzus — Brian E. Daley, S.J.
-
Gregory of Nyssa — Anthony Meredith, S.J.
-
Athanasius — Khaled Anatolios
-
Athanasius: The Coherence of His Thought — Khaled Anatolios
The first three are from the Early Church Fathers series edited by Carol Harrison and the fourth is a book I’ve had my eye on for a few years now. The Early Church Fathers series offers up fresh translations of selected writings from various Fathers along with informative introductions to their lives, thought, and work. These are welcome additions to my Patristics shelves.

Nice!
I wish my Patristics shelve was a lot bigger than it is. But I keep spending my book money on other books.
Diglot: Fortunately I don’t spend as much money on books as I used to. The upside to reviewing them is that they’re free. The downside is that I have to review them which means reading even the ones I don’t like.
very nice, all books i’d like to read.
Seumas: You and me both!
