The Benefits of Showtime (or Why I’m Annoyed Right Now)

Folks who watch Big Brother know that tonight they had a live double-eviction ceremony where Michelle was evicted first by a vote of 3 to 1.  After Michelle left the house they had the H.O.H. competition and Keesha won.  Keesha immediately put up Ollie and Jerry for eviction and Ollie ended up being evicted by a vote of 3 to 0.  Now one of the benefits of having Showtime is that I’m able to check in on the house guests by watching Big Brother After Dark.  But this is where things get annoying.  Apparently after the live double-eviction, they had another H.O.H. competition and unfortunately, Jerry won.  Now for those who don’t know, Jerry is the most dreadful old man I’ve ever seen.  He’s a liar (as are all of them) as well as an avid nose-picker (it’s quite disgusting).  His constant reference to his being seventy-five years of age makes me sick.  Nobody cares!  He talks more trash than anyone in the house, but then turns around and talks about how he respects everyone and has never bad-mouthed them in the game.  Gimme a break!  In any event, he’s head of household and now he’ll probably put up Dan (whom I want to see win) for eviction.  Hopefully Dan will win the P.O.V. and save himself, and one of the girls will go home.  We’ll see what happens.

  1. While I generally don’t watch TV, I have very much enjoyed Biblioblogger’s Big Brother Episode 5 over at Jim West’s Blog. That Nick Norelli is a real character.

  2. Shaun: That game is rigged! Nick losing to Doug in rock, paper, scissors? I think not!
