Because I’m Such a Nice Guy…

I’m going buy someone a book.  God knows that I’ve been extremely blessed by others in the book department, so it’s time to bless back.  Seed time and harvest baby!  Just know that I’m fairly broke and will probably pick a used book, but hey, it’s free!

Here’s what you have to do to be eligable for the prize:

  1. Have an Amazon wish list
  2. Post a link to said wish list in the comments to this post

And that’s it.  I will put all the participants’ names in a hat and draw the winner.  I’ll announce the winner on Saturday, July 5, 2008.  The book will remain a secret until it shows up on your doorstep.

Have at it…

I was wondering about a wish list on my blog. This is definitively a good incentive.

Nothing like blessing someone else and getting a little shameless self-promotion for your web site. Here’s the link to my wish list. : )

That’s pretty cool of you. Unfortunately I’m too private to post my wish list on the internet (even though I post some other personal things about me)
    : )

I hope you let us know who one and what you got them after they receive it (if they don’t).

  7. Wow, it is so tempting to go now and add some rare and expensive books to my wish list… :-) But seriously, this is a nice thing to do. Thanks!

  9. hmm, i’m suspicious of your seemingly kind gesture. also, you’ve already gotten me a book, and it feels kind of wrong to throw my name in for another one. on the other hand, i love free stuff, and that love far outweighs any other concerns i might have. without further ado: my wishlist.

Hey Nick, I have a wish list and could link to it, but since you hava a book I’d like, you wouldn’t even have to buy it for me! :)

Dan Lioy’s book would be my pick.
