Finally!

After receiving a sign from above, I ordered a copy of the Synopsis of the Four Gospels: Greek-English ed., which should have arrived a few days later, but didn’t.  Well it has finally arrived!  The good folks at CBD sent it UPS 2nd Day Air after I informed them that I didn’t receive my original order.  This was supposed to be a ’slightly hurt’ copy, but I’m at a loss to find the flaws.  This edition is beautifully bound, with no marks on the cover or pages, no dents in the spine, no wrinkles on the pages, and a gold ribbon marker that is fully intact.  Either I’m just not seeing the damage, or they replaced my original order with a brand new copy.  Either way, this book is flawless as far as I can tell.  I’m very excited to get into it, and now I’ll start resuming my review of Four Portraits, One Jesus.

Nick, I’m glad that CBD came through for you.

I hope you post about it. I will definitely be buying this exact copy or the all Greek SQE sometime later this year (xmas maybe?). Looking forward to hearing what you think, and how you use it.

I’m glad you got the book now. You will find it very helpful to study the Synoptics.
I was also concerned about the delay. This is unlike CDB.

Nathan: Oh, you can bet that I’ll be posting about it! And I do want the SQE as well, but only because I’m a book junkie. Since I’m not really into Thomasine studies, I can’t see the need for it at the moment.

Celucien: Thanks! I think the problem was with the USPS, and not CBD. They shipped it the day after I ordered it, but the post office screwed up somewhere. I just hope the original copy arrives so I can mail it back to them. I hate to think that they’ve lost money on this order.
