ABC News reports that:
Josef Fritzl, the Austrian man who fathered seven children with his daughter while keeping her imprisoned in a windowless dungeon in his cellar, has complained about poor media coverage of the case.
His defense? He said:
“I could have killed them all, and no one would ever have known, no one would ever have found out . . . I’m not a monster.”
So apparently, this way beyond totally depraved individual seems to think that because he could have done worse (honestly, murder would have been merciful compared to what they had to suffer) that he’s not a monster. Ladies and gentleman, the devil is alive and well, and so are his demons. They are resident in people like this. God help him.
