I like comments and recommendations, otherwise its harder to decide where it’s best to start. Have you ever looked at the bibliography in a technical commentary? It’s crazy. Shorten it up and write few words so I know where the meat is.

there’s no way i’m getting around to reading every book on the list…
BUT… it sure is useful for research if someone has already done it for you and lists their work.
