Ethan Cole of the Christian Post reports that the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) has issued a warning against false apostles and prophets. Didn’t Jesus do that like a couple of millennia ago?

I’d never heard of the IPHC before now.

Nick, I was a teaching minister in the IPHC here in Florida. The IPHC claims to be a Trinitarian organization and that they have a zero tolerance for oneness teachings. That my friend is NOT true. The church I was attending voted in a Oneness and I provided his teachings against the Trinity to the Conference superintendent. They did nothing to him. He stayed at that church for two more years!! IPHC sucks!!! They breed false prophets.

Drew: Thanks for the info. Something seemed a bit off to me when I was reading the article.

I pass by this post for some time without making a comment. Tonight, I changed my mind. I cannot speak particular to Drew’s personal experience.
I just find it a bit extreme to rhetorically lambaste a whole denomination because of one’s local conference’s theological compromise.

Jason: Yes, you’re right. I do admit that when I was reading the article, something didn’t seem up to snuff, and hearing Drew’s experience seemed to make sense. But when I look at their official doctrinal affirmations, they do claim to be Trinitarians, and they use orthodox language to define their belief, so in the end, I can’t indict the entire organization.
