  1. Good idea. I’ll have to do mine! Some will be the same, I think.

  2. Nick Norelli says:

Can’t wait to see who you pick.

  4. Will says:

I think I would add Richard B. Hays to the list, but yours looks great.

  5. Nick Norelli says:

Will: I haven’t read Hays yet. Perhaps when I get around to it my list will need updating.

  6. Brian says:

    Here are my additions:
    John Stott
    Luke Timothy Johnson
    Craig Keener
    Gary Burge
    Os Guiness
    F.F. Bruce*
    C.S. Lewis*
    Walter Martin*
    Stan Grenz*

  7. Peter Kirk says:

If we are allowing famous names from the past, how about adding these two?
    Paul of Tarsus*
    Jesus of Nazareth (no*)

  8. Chuck Grantham says:

Add two more old dead scholars for me:

    J.B. Lightfoot*
Origen* (who would single-handedly outpost the rest of the blogosphere!)

  9. Nick Norelli says:

Brian: Keener and Bruce were considered for this list but ultimately lost out.

Peter: Well, my interaction with Jesus is already personal so I think him keeping a blog would be superfluous. I’d create a whole new category for Paul.

Chuck: I can leave Lightfoot, but Origen would be a welcome addition, and you’re right, he would outpost the rest of the blogosphere, unless of course, Jacob Neusner started blogging. :-P

Maybe I’ll do a top 10 list of Church Fathers I wish blogged.

  10. Bryan L says:

cool idea; I did my own.
