Injustice

I went to sleep extremely early last night (before 10 PM) so I missed America’s Best Dance Crew.  But the Tivo recorded it so all was well, or so I thought.  Last night’s episode proved to me that America is the dumbest nation on Earth, and no, not because most Americans only speak one language, but because they don’t know how to vote.

Three crews were left:

  1. JabbaWockeez
  2. Kaba Modern
  3. Status Quo

JabbaWockeez and Kaba Modern have been consistently excellent throughout.  In fact, the JabbaWockeez have been flawless, while Kaba Modern made a single mistake in last week’s Broadway challenge.  So who did America vote for to be safe from elimination and automatically make it to the finals?  You guessed it, the talentless hacks, Status Quo.  These guys do flips, that’s it.  They’ve been consistently unimpressive, they almost got eliminated a few weeks ago, and their choreography is always sloppy.  In short, they suck!  And this was proven by their lack-luster performance in last night’s episode.  The judges even commented on how sloppy they were and how their formations and routine didn’t make sense.  But apparently that doesn’t matter since any idiot with a phone can vote for them and put them in the finals of a competition they shouldn’t have been in to begin with.

So the JabbaWockeez had to knock Kaba Modern out of the competition when it should have been them competing for the grand prize.  Both performances were amazing, but the JabbaWockeez are on a level all their own.  Their imagination is unparalleled.  But alas, America gets to vote for the winner of the entire competition.  Will they continue along the misguided lines that saved Status Quo, or will they fight for all that is just and give the victory to the JabbaWockeez?  Time will tell.

I salute Kaba Modern for a stellar overall performance, and I decry the injustice that kept Status Quo in the competition.  If nothing else is wrong in this world, this is!

I completely agree with you that the final competition should have been between Jabbawockeez and Kaba Modern. I am writing to ask if you have the auditions and the first 2 episodes on your tivo and would be willing to share it with me. I know that the shows could be viewed online, but I would really love to have it on my TIVO so I could watch it on the big screen.

Ray: Sorry, I do not have them. But out of curiosity, how could I share something from my Tivo to yours?
